The Treasury Committee will question the National Infrastructure
Commission (NIC) for the first time since it was set up. It will
examine the organisational structure of the Commission, its
infrastructure priorities, and the implications of Brexit for UK
infrastructure.
The evidence session will be on Tuesday 7 November at 10am with
Lord Andrew Adonis, Sir John Armitt and Philip Graham.
It will focus on their vision and priorities for the future of UK
infrastructure.
Commenting on the launch of the inquiry, Rt Hon. MP, Chair of the Treasury
Committee, said:
“Infrastructure is vitally important to the economy. This is
particularly acute in the context of Brexit. Decisions made now
will have long-term consequences for generations to come, so it’s
crucial that we have the right approach to
infrastructure.
“It is therefore timely that the Committee takes evidence
from the National Infrastructure Commission.”
