Education Committee questions HM Chief Inspector and Chair of Ofsted

The Education Committee is to question Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children’s Services and Skills Amanda Spielman and Ofsted Chair Julius Weinberg as part of its series of accountability hearings early in the new Parliament.

Questions will cover Ofsted's inspection of children's services, oversight of multi-academy trusts and inspection of sub-contractors amongst other subjects within Ofsted's remit.

Further accountability hearings with Anne Longfield, Children’s Commissioner for England, and Sally Collier, Chief Regulator, Ofqual, will follow in the coming weeks.
