Changes to the Members Lobby contact management system in the last few weeks

Labour front bench changes

• Sarah Champion resigned as Shadow Equalities Minister on August 16 after she was criticised for saying "Britain has a problem with British Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls".
• Andy Slaughter (Shadow Minister for Civil Society), Ruth Cadbury (Shadow Minister for Housing), and Catherine West (shadow minister for Foreign Affairs) were sacked on June 29 for defying Jeremy Corbyn and backing a call for the UK to stay in the single market after Brexit.

On July 19, the following appointments were announced:

• Liam Byrne as Shadow Digital Minister, replacing Louise Haigh, who became Shadow Minister for Policing
• Karin Smyth was made Shadow Deputy Leader of the House, taking over from Cat Smith, who was made Shadow Transport Minister, in addition to being Shadow Minister for Voter Engagement & Youth Affairs.
• Kate Hollern was appointed Jeremy Corbyn's Parliamentary Private Secretary.

• Anne Marie Morris was suspended from the Conservative Party on July 10 when it was revealed she had used racist language when discussing Brexit.
• Sir Vince Cable was elected (unopposed) as leader of the Liberal Democrat Party on July 20
• Kathryn Stone was appointed the new Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards on July 21
• Stewart Jackson was appointed special adviser (SpAd) and chief of staff for Brexit Secretary David Davis on July 27.
• Theresa May's strategy director and chief speechwriter Chris Wilkins quit on July 27.
