Derek Thomas (St Ives) (Con):...Despite such campaigns, riders are
often at the mercy of the poor judgment of other road users. Hand
gestures to drivers, save those made in moments of intense
frustration, are rarely understood and seldom acknowledged. CCTV
from hat cameras is not routinely followed up by police, which
makes it difficult for riders to hold other road users to account.
Increased usage of electric cars poses a new threat to
