Tuesday, 18 April 2017 12:25
|
If, as expected, the Government receive a 2/3 majority on the
motion tomorrow on the Fixed Term Parliament Act, the likeliest
outcome is that Parliament will sit until prorogation on Thursday,
April 27th. Parliament will then officially be dissolved at
midnight on Wednesday, May 3rd, at which point MPs are no longer
MPs, but merely Prospective Parliamentary Candidates. The election
will take place on Thursday, June 8th 2017. Further information
will be given as soon as it is available....Request free trial
