- · Under
the Government’s new National Funding Formula for schools, it’s
estimated up to 70 per cent of London schools will see their
funding reduced[1].
- · The
formula, proposed for introduction April 2018, will see
significant re-allocation of funding from London to other parts
of the country[2].
- · Of the
20 local authorities facing the largest reduction, 11 are in
London[3].
The London Assembly Education
Panel will tomorrow examine
the Government’s plans for a new National Funding Formula and its
likely impact on London schools.
