The UK’s participation in the Erasmus+ Programme, Peers to take evidence

On Tuesday 7 July from 11:00am, the House of Lords European Affairs Committee will take evidence on the UK's participation in the Erasmus+ Programme.

From 11:00am the Committee will hear from:

• Vivienne Stern MBE, Chief Executive, Universities UK
• Emma Meredith, Director of Skills Policy and Global Engagement, Association of Colleges

Members are likely to ask questions on the following:

• How Erasmus+ has changed since the UK last participated in the programme
• How strong the appetite is to participate in Erasmus+ for 2027 and the expected levels of inbound and outbound mobility
• The financial impact of Erasmus+ participation on universities
• The response from UK universities to the proposal that EU students studying at British universities should be granted home fee status as part of the Youth Experience Scheme

The evidence session will take place in Committee Room 4, Palace of Westminster, and will be available to watch live from 11:00 or on demand on Parliamentlive.tv.
