Economy Minister Dr has been promoting our
world‑class screen sector directly to major US studios during a
series of meetings with senior decision‑makers in Los Angeles.
Joined by representatives from Northern Ireland Screen, the
Minister met with global production leaders including HBO, Riot
Games, Netflix, and Amazon MGM. The meetings were aimed at
strengthening commercial relationships and promoting Northern
Ireland's growing technical and creative offering.
Minister Archibald said: “Our screen industry is a global
success story, creating high‑quality jobs, attracting
international investment, and showcasing our world‑class talent
and locations on screens across the world.
“I am pleased to have been able to strengthen relationships with
key decision‑makers, promote our cutting‑edge facilities such as
Studio Ulster, and position the north as a premier destination
for film and television production.”

The Minister also attended the annual Oscar Wilde Awards, hosted
by the US-Ireland Alliance, which celebrate Irish and
Irish-American achievements in film and television.
