The House of Lords Conduct Committee has today published a report
on the conduct of the Earl of Shrewsbury. In its report the Conduct
Committee uphold findings by the independent Commissioner for
Standards that Lord Shrewsbury breached the House of Lords Code of
Conduct by using a rail season ticket paid for by the House for
non-parliamentary travel to attend a business meeting on 17 January
2024, and by claiming car mileage for journeys he did not make. The
