Tuesday 8 July, 9:30am,
Wilson Room, Portcullis House
The Science, Innovation and Technology Committee will question
Palantir and NHS England on public service digital transformation
in the next session of its inquiry into the Digital Centre of
Government.
In the first panel, the cross-party committee will quiz the head
of Palantir's UK and Europe operations, Louis Mosley, on the use
of its technology in the NHS and the wider public sector. MPs may
investigate Palantir's federated data platform, wider public
sector procurement and the digital and technical capability of
the public sector.
Questions could also explore Palantir's work as a defence
technology provider and the UK's hoped-for technology partnership
with the US.
MPs will then question NHS England representatives about the
shift from analogue to digital detailed in the 10-year plan,
previous NHS attempts at digital transformation and the barriers
to the adoption of innovative technology across the NHS. Members
may also explore current challenges to the use of the foresight
generative AI tool, steps the NHS is taking to ensure digital
inclusion and the impact of the spending review on its digital
transformation agenda.
