Health and Social Care Secretary to face MPs' questions on the 10 Year Health Plan

The Health and Social Care Committee will question the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, the Rt Hon Wes Streeting, in an evidence session at 2pm on Monday 14 July.  

The session will see MPs on the Committee scrutinise the Government's 10 Year Health Plan, including its ambition to shift care from hospital to community settings, and to move from sickness to prevention, and from analogue to digital. 

The Acting Chair of the Health and Social Care Committee, Paulette Hamilton MP, said: 

“The Government's 10 Year Health Plan represents a major opportunity for constructive reform of the country's healthcare systems. At its core, the Plan has got to deliver for patients.  

“We look forward to scrutinising the details of the Plan in a hearing with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care on 14 July.”
