Economy Minister Dr has announced the
appointment of nine new members to the Board of Northern Ireland
Screen.
Megan Earls, Ciara Chambers, Eimhear O'Neill, Aaron Donaghey, Dr
Frank Ferguson and Tommy Martin are being appointed from 1
March 2025.
Bríd Ní Fhachta, Ali Murat Akser, and Dermot Lavery, are being
appointed from 1 July 2025.
All appointments are for a term of five years.
The appointments have been made in accordance with the
Commissioner for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland Code of
Practice.

- The Northern Ireland Screen Commission (trading as Northern
Ireland Screen) was established in 1997 to accelerate the
development of a dynamic and sustainable film industry and
culture in Northern Ireland. Limited by Guarantee, Northern

allowances are payable at Northern Ireland Civil Service rates.

plays no part in the selection process. However, the Commissioner
for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland and in accordance
with the original Nolan recommendations requires the political
activity of appointees (if any declared) to be published. None of
the appointees have carried out any political activity in the
past five years.
