PM transition timings

While exact timings are subject to change, please see a provisional schedule of timings for the transition below. These are reportable, with those caveats:

• The Prime Minister will make a statement at around 1030am before travelling to Buckingham Palace for an Audience with His Majesty the King.
• After this, the Labour Party Leader will travel to Buckingham Palace for his Audience with His Majesty the King.
• The new Prime Minister Keir Starmer will then travel to Downing Street. You can expect a statement at around 1220pm.
