School writing tests strip out flair and imagination says NAHT

Responding to a new survey from the National Literacy Trust, which
found that fewer than three in 10 pupils enjoy writing, Sarah
Hannafin, head of policy at school leaders' union NAHT, said: “The
current curriculum and assessment system is part of the problem
when it comes to children's enjoyment of writing. “When we surveyed
