Conservatives: Welsh business confidence drops to the lowest in the UK

Commenting on Lloyds Bank’s Business Barometer’s regional insights which place Wales as the nation or region with the lowest business confidence in the UK at only 25%, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives said:

“This is a sad indictment of 25 years of Labour running Wales.

“While the Labour Government focus on creating 36 more politicians and effectively double the already highest business rates in Britain, business confidence levels drop to the lowest in the whole UK.

“Labour needs to end their hostile environment for Welsh businesses, reform the tax on jobs and replicate the levels of support offered by the UK Conservative Government.”
