Wes Streeting responds to NHS waiting times data

Wes Streeting MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, responding to NHS waiting times data, said:

“After 13 years of Conservative mismanagement, people can no longer trust the NHS will be there for us in an emergency. More patients waited longer than four hours in A&E last month than at any point this year. It is unacceptable that the Conservatives have left the NHS facing strikes for the second Christmas in a row, for which patients will pay the price.

“Only Labour has a plan to get the NHS back on its feet, delivering two million more operations, scans and appointments, paid for by abolishing the non-dom tax status.”
