Peter Kyle responds to Elon Musk's "support for an antisemitic conspiracy theory"

Peter Kyle, Shadow Science, Innovation and Technology Secretary, responding to Elon Musk's support for an antisemitic conspiracy theory, said:

''Two weeks ago the Prime Minister had a cozy sit-down with Elon Musk who now seems to have subscribed to a vile antisemitic conspiracy theory and publicly amplified it on his website.

We have a responsibility as leaders to keep our communities safe, the White House has rightly condemned Musk's comment as unacceptable, but the Prime Minister has been silent. 

The Prime Minister needs to stand up for British people instead of worrying about his future job prospects. He must condemn these comments and distance himself from Musk. A Labour government would always put the country first.''
