Anneliese Dodds comments on the resignation of Chris Pincher

Anneliese Dodds MP, Labour's Party Chair, commenting on the resignation of Chris Pincher, said:

"While Keir Starmer has been putting together a strong team to deliver the change our country needs, Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives are setting new records for sleaze and scandal.

"The Prime Minister should have taken responsibility for this situation a long time ago, but instead it’s been left to Chris Pincher himself to finally accept that he is no longer fit to represent his constituents.

"The people of Tamworth have been let down by the Conservatives for 13 years. 

"With Sarah Edwards they now have the chance to vote for a great Labour candidate and to support Keir Starmer’s mission-driven agenda to give Britain its future back.
