Government
Following the resignation of as Justice Secretary and
Deputy Prime Minister on April 21, the following ministerial
changes were announced:

State in the Department for Business and Trade on March 27
Conservative Party
On April 5 had the Conservative Party
whip suspended while the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards
investigates a fake lobbying role he was offered by reporters
from The Times.
On April 26 was expelled from the
Conservative Party for a series of misdemeanours, including
breaching the MPs' code of conduct by lobbying ministers for
commercial gain.
Labour Party
had the Labour whip suspended
on 23 April pending an investigation after she made 'deeply
offensive and wrong' comments suggesting Jews and other
minorities do not face racism.
Commons Select Committees
