responding to the annual BSA survey on NHS satisfaction, said:
“After 13 years of Conservative mismanagement, the public has
lost faith that the NHS will be there for them when they need it.
People are just praying they don’t have to dial 999 or go to
A&E.
“Yet support for the values that the NHS was built upon are
unshakable. It will fall to the next Labour government to reform
and rebuild the NHS, so it once again delivers quality care for
patients, free at the point of use. That starts with training the
doctors and nurses needed to treat patients on time again, while
undertaking the radical reforms needed to make the NHS fit for
the future.”

they began measuring in the 80s. It was 70% when we left office
and 53% in 2020 (pre-pandemic). Dissatisfaction at its highest
ever at 51%, beating the 1996 peak of 50%.
