Harper to face MPs on subject of rail services

Transport Secretary Mark Harper is due to make a statement to MPs this afternoon on "rail services". I suspect it could be to do with the contract extension for Avanti West Coast.

It is difficult to say with any certainty when this will happen as we don't yet know if there are any other statements or urgent questions, but it will certainly be after 3.30pm.
