The summary of responses sets out respondents’ views on the
following areas covered in the consultation:
- programme design and cross-cutting issues
- options for reform across a range of market dimensions
It also sets out how the government’s thinking has evolved in
response to the feedback.

- generators and developers
- representative and trade bodies
- members of the public
- academics

Summary
This review of electricity market arrangements will identify
reforms needed to transition to a decarbonised, cost effective
and secure electricity system.

Consultation description
This consultation seeks views on a range of options to deliver an
enduring electricity market framework that will work for
businesses, industry, and households.
We welcome views from a range of stakeholders including:
- energy industry
- non-governmental organisations (NGOs)
- consumer groups
- academics
- policy think-tanks
