Leader of the Welsh Conservatives welcomes £100m of aerospace investment in Wales

Commenting on the multi-billion pound deal between Air India, Airbus and Rolls-Royce, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew RT Davies MS said:

“This is fantastic news for the people of Wales and in particular North Wales, that we will benefit from £100 million in inward investment and 450 manufacturing jobs up in Broughton.

“With the aerospace industry growing so rapidly in the UK, now being worth over £10 billion to the economy, I am glad to see that Wales is getting a slice of the pie.

“It just goes to show that post-Brexit, we are able to benefit from a closer partnership with our Commonwealth friends. I look forward to the completion of the comprehensive free trade agreement with India that will supercharge our economy.”
