said:
“This Labour International Trade Reception is a powerful sign
that Labour is a pro-business, pro-trade party. We are bringing
together representatives from the highest levels of
diplomacy and business, to show how committed we are to working
in partnership with business and our global partners to drive up
British exports, foreign direct investment and growth.
“This is a great trading nation, but we are being let down by a
failing government that has broken promise after promise on
international trade.
“Labour has a plan to make Britain a Green Superpower – and
exports can play a key role in helping deliver the benefits of
that to every part of the UK.
“It’s clear that only Labour can deliver growth, drive innovation
and raise investment for this country. Labour will partner with
businesses here and across the globe to make that a reality,
building a fairer, greener, more dynamic Britain.”
