Policy paper published on heated tobacco products

The Department of Health and Social Care has published an explanatory memorandum on a European Commission delegated directive amending the EU Tobacco Products Directive which will withdraw certain exemptions in respect of heated tobacco products and proposes to regulate these products on a similar footing as cigarettes and hand rolling tobacco.
