Labour responds to BSA survey that reveals lowest public satisfaction in the NHS since 1997

Wes Streeting MP, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, responding to the British Social Attitudes survey revealing the lowest public satisfaction in the NHS since 1997, said:

“While the public have clearly lost confidence in the Conservatives’ ability to run our health service, there remains clear support for the founding principles of the NHS. People want an NHS, free to all who use it, that treats patients on time again.

“Only Labour will provide the staff, equipment and modern technology needed to make the NHS fit for the future.

“The longer we give the Conservatives, the longer patients will wait.”
