The UK Health Security Agency has published documents relating to the national human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programme for men who have sex with men (MSM).

The national HPV vaccination programme for MSM began on 1 April 2018.

The purpose of the HPV for MSM programme is to offer the vaccine to MSM aged up to and including 45-years-old through Specialist Sexual Health Services (SSHS) and/or HIV clinics. At present, the vaccine is only available at SSHS and HIV clinics. The UK Health Security Agency therefore encourages patients to continue attending SSHS and HIV clinics where they normally receive care.

To support healthcare professionals a slide set describing the current epidemiology of HPV, evidence-based information and guidance on the administration of the vaccine has been developed.
