Seaford MP visits Morrisons to see technology drive

Maria Caulfield, the Member of Parliament for Seaford, has visited the town’s Morrisons to find out about their work with Tubbs Computers Supplies to take donations of old devices that can be passed on to those in need of them.

Morrisons Seaford along with three other local Morrisons stores have joined together with Tubbs Computer Supplies in Eastbourne to hold a technology drive collecting old unwanted laptops, mobiles and tablets. 

The drive will be held between 31st January - 6th February and the devices will then be collected from the store on Monday 14th February at 13:00. They will then be wiped by Tubbs and returned to people in the community that are in need of them for either home schooling or to help find employment. 

Maria Caulfield MP said “There is still time to donate your old computers, laptops and tablets to Morrisons in Seaford who have joined together with Tubbs Computer Supplies in Eastbourne to hold a technology drive collecting old unwanted devices which will be wiped and reconditioned before being distributed to those who need them in the town. This is a fantastic initiative and it was great to meet with the staff at Morrisons in Seaford to find out about all of the things that they are doing to help our community.”
