Pat McFadden comments on Bank of England forecasts

Pat McFadden MP, Labour’s Shadow Chief Secretary of the Treasury, commenting on the Bank of England’s forecasts published today, said:

“The Bank of England has today confirmed the depth of the cost of living crisis facing the country.  

“Rising prices, new Tory taxes and falling real wages are all combining to hit household incomes hard.  

“The Tories cannot solve the cost of living crisis. They are the cost of living crisis.”
