The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department

vital in this regard. Because I have been in my present role for
only two days, I have had no conversations with them yet other than
in my capacity as a local MP, but I am acutely aware of the role
that they play in commissioning those vital local services, and I
look forward to having many conversations about that in the
future.
