Labour responds to Citizens Advice report on devastating impact Universal Credit cut will have on working people

Jonathan Reynolds MP, Labour’s Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary,
responding to research from Citizens Advice showing 600,000 working
people will struggle to afford food if the “disastrous decision” to
cut Universal Credit goes ahead, said: “Millions of families are
facing a very difficult winter because of this government’s
choices. Rising food costs, tax hikes, the energy crisis and cuts
to Universal Credit are a perfect storm facing working
