International Trade Committee publishes response to Trade Remedies report

The International Trade Committee today publishes the Trade Remedies Authority’s (TRA) response to its report on UK trade remedies policy.

This follows the Government’s response to the Committee’s report, which was published in May.

Trade remedies protect domestic industry against unfair trade practices or unexpected surges in imports. Following the UK’s decision to leave the EU, the Government established the TRA on 1 June 2021 to investigate trade remedies cases.
