The Green Gas Support Scheme (GGSS) has several mechanisms to manage the budget and ensure value for money, while maintaining investor confidence to encourage deployment. These were set out in our government response to our consultation, and this document gives greater detail on the intended budget cap setting methodology, the degression process and the Annual Tariff Review. This publication is intended to provide transparency and clarity on scheme budget management for applicants and investors in a single document.
