the Minister for Business, Energy and Clean Growth, the right hon.
Member for Berwick-upon-Tweed (Anne-Marie Trevelyan), is in her
place and I look forward to her response. She might recall that in
a written answer to me on 7 June, she said: “The geo-engine could
help achieve the ambitious decarbonisation targets set in the North
Sea Transition Deal for offshore gas published by BEIS in
