Liz Kendall responds to the Prime Minister’s comments on social care at PMQs

“We have been waiting for the Government’s plans for reform of social care for over 22 months. And yet all we’ve heard about it is a mere nine words in the Queens’ Speech.

"We cannot build a better future for our country after Covid-19 without transforming social care and the Prime Minister needs to wake up to the scale of this challenge.

“The Prime Minister need to present his plans for social care reform to Parliament as soon as possible.”
