Labour responds to calls from NAHT school leaders’ union for headteachers to be released from test & trace burden

“We owe headteachers an enormous debt for the extra work they have taken on this year to keep our communities going, but warm words are not enough.

“The Government needs to finally put in place the contact tracing infrastructure needed to control the spread of the virus and enable heads to focus on their priorities: settling children back into school, supporting their recovery and delivering the world class education every child deserves.”
