New Labour analysis can reveal the cost of the gaps in the Government’s coronavirus support schemes, launched a year ago today (Friday 26 March). Of the nearly 5 million (4,973,249) people estimated to be self-employed at the start of the crisis, 944,917– or one in five – now say that they plan to leave the sector as the crisis ends.
