David Lammy MP, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Justice,
responding to the publication of the Public Accounts Committee
report which finds “besieged” prisons, probation and courts cannot
provide justice for “victims, offenders, taxpayers or society”,
said: “A decade of Conservative cuts to our justice system has left
