(DCMS) commissioned PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for
independent research on the harms and opportunities
associated with digital technologies.
This report identifies the distinctive characteristics and
business models associated with digital technologies, and
the harms associated with those characteristics. Based on
this, the report also offers some initial reflections on
how we can govern and regulate digital technologies in a
targeted, effective and coherent way.
