Universal Credit statistics (latest)

This collection contains:

• monthly updates for people on Universal Credit
• quarterly updates for claims, starts and households on Universal Credit

Quarterly data are published in February, May, August and November alongside a statistical bulletin with detailed commentary. The exact dates for the monthly and quarterly releases are listed in the statistics release calendar.

New data for households on Universal Credit was published in the latest release of statistics (published on 23 February 2021) on Removal of Spare Room Subsidy and Local Housing Allowance. This data was originally available within the supplementary ODS tables, but is now available on Stat-Xplore.

The latest monthly release of official statistics includes the number of people on Universal Credit to 11 February 2021.
