Labour comments on the Government’s announcement of funding to reduce violent crime

“Tory cuts to police funding and preventative services have led to an enormous rise in violent crime right across the country.

“The Government’s failure to get a grip on violent crime has affected every police force in the country, yet this limited funding will only apply to certain areas and large parts of it will not even be new investment.”
