Emma Hardy responds to the Sutton Trust's report on Covid-19 and the university experience

“Covid-19 has hit those students with the fewest resources the hardest. The Government has failed to recognise the scale of the problem and continues to trail far behind the Welsh Labour Government in ensuring student hardship support.

“Students are seriously worried about getting the skills and experience they need for the workplace. Despite Labour's calls, Ministers did little to support the graduates of 2020 who entered a shattered jobs market - they must do more to secure the futures of the class of 2021.”
