Justin Madders MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Minister, commenting on reports that NHS staff are being hit with £500 parking charges, said:

“NHS staff have been absolute heroes working well beyond what can be expected of them for a year now, so to have to face these charges is a real kick in the teeth.

“Matt Hancock should deliver on the promise made and scrap parking charges for NHS staff for as long as the pandemic lasts.”
