Angus MacDonald (Falkirk East) (SNP): ...Grangemouth emits 33 per
cent of the total emissions from companies in Scotland. A related
statistic is that it accounts for 8 per cent of Scotland’s
emissions but only 2.9 per cent of the total population. We can
therefore understand why the Scottish Government, Falkirk Council
and major industry players including Ineos are keen to develop
plans for carbon capture and utilisation schemes in Grangemouth, as
