Eddie Hughes appointed minister for rough sleeping and housing

Eddie Hughes MP has been appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, following the resignation from Government of Kelly Tolhurst MP.

She stood down as minister responsible for rough sleeping and housing to care for and spend time with her family following "some very sad news."

Eddie Hughes was previously a government whip.
