(Lab) [V]: Bringing down the cost of school uniforms
for parents and carers is more important than ever in these

House make with the Government to ensure that my Education
(Guidance about Costs of School Uniforms) Bill, which is supported

Children’s Society, is given parliamentary time in this
Session?
The Leader of the House of Commons (
): I refer the hon. Gentleman to what I
said earlier about private Members’ Bills. I am keen that they
should come back as soon as is possible and practical. We had to
suspend them under current circumstances, but I hope we can get
back to them as soon as conditions allow—those conditions are
outside my control—and then his Bill can come to the Floor of the
House in the normal way, according to its priority, and be
considered.
