Moving goods through Great Britain and Northern IrelandCommon Transit may affect the declarations that need to be made. How to submitYou will still be able to use CHIEF for a limited period of time if you’re bringing goods into Northern Ireland from outside the UK and EU. Most declarations are submitted electronically through Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) system or the Customs Declaration Service.
