resigned as
a Foreign Minister following the Chancellor's announcement on
November 25 of a cut to the UK's overseas aid spending
- On November 28 was appointed Minister for Health with
responsibility for covid vaccine deployment, a temporary
appointment to go along with his duties as junior BEIS Minister
responsible for Life Sciences.

QC was appointed Under Secretary of State for
Justice on December 22 and will be elevated to the House of
Lords.
