Treasury Committee Evidence Session – Spending Review 2020: Office for Budget Responsibility

The Treasury Committee will hold an evidence session on Spending Review 2020 with the Office for Budget Responsibility.

The Committee is likely to examine the economic impact of coronavirus lockdown measures implemented by the Government, the OBR’s economic forecasts and the scenarios underlying them, and the economic scarring effects of the pandemic.

The Committee is also likely to seek views on the scale of public and corporate indebtedness, the path of public spending, and the impact of a deal or no deal Brexit.
