east Yorkshire and London for the past 20 years, today ceases its
services in this second lockdown. Open access has been one of the
most successful aspects of the 1990s rail industry reforms and the
Transport Secretary claims to be as keen as mustard on open access,
so, given the Government’s support to the rail industry and
